Project 3rd bell
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to 7/8 Grade Science Website:
My name is Ms. Dews, and I am very excited to be your teacher this school year. We are going to participate in many fun experiments, and explore things in nature as well in the classroom. We are going to learn about the exciting world of science.
We will be starting our school year off remotely. This school year will be engaging, productive, and successful for all students. They will learn how to conduct experiments and understand how to write science reports that can be shared with other students.
I attended Texas College ( Tyler, Texas ) and Texas Southern University (Houston,Texas) where I studied biology, chemistry, and secondary education. I have a passion for teaching science to our students. I taught high school science classes for thirty one years in the Cincinnati Public Schools district and eleven years at PCLC.
I am going to provide you with some of the expectations that we must follow in our virtual learning. Students are expected to report to the science meetings on time with all needed supplies, and be ready to learn everyday. Students must be respectful and responsible for the assignments and the lessons that will be given out daily.
It is very important that we communicate with each other so that students will have a successful year in science. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Another way to communicate with me is by calling the school (513 ) 351-5801.
