Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at PCLC! Thank you for stopping by my page. Let me briefly introduce myself. I am Ms. Koshler and this is my second year at PCLC. I taught 7th & 8th grade ELA last year, and will be working with 5th & 6th grade this year. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary English Education in the early 2000s. Shortly after graduation I moved to Ohio thinking I'd stay two or three years but I ended up loving it so much that I made it my permanent home.

I have a passion for teaching and I love words! Helping students to read, write, and express themselves more eloquently brings me so much joy. Outside of school my favorite pastimes include reading, cooking, geocaching, spending time with friends, and sleeping, (oh how I love naps). I'm looking forward to this new (and unique) school year and anticipate great things ahead.

Have a Great Summer!!!

Thank you all for a great school year! I know it's been a unique and challenging year, but we've almost made it to the finish line. I will miss you all this summer, but I hope you get a chance to enjoy some of your time off with friends and family.
Don't forget that the summer extended learning program and summer camp begin on June 14th. Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.. Students wanting to stay for summer camp can stay until 6:00 p.m.. Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the school day, and if students remain for summer camp, they will also be provided with dinner. For more information, please visit the Phoenix main page, or contact school administrators at 513-351-5801.
Just because you're signed up for summer learning, doesn't mean you can't enjoy your time off. Have fun getting outside, hanging with friends, and visiting with family, (hopefully mask-free). See you in the fall!
