Description

My Math is the selected math curriculum that offers students a broad background in math where prior learned skills are reviewed and expanded upon to deepen the understanding for all students.  My Math is a fast-paced program but offers many opportunities to spiral learning in ways that continue to allow students to practice skills in order to maintain mastery. My Math is written to meet the Common Core State Standards. Aleks - Is an adaptive, online math program designed to help students practice and gain a better understanding of concepts of math.

Students will have homework DAILY.

# Upcoming Assignments

### Due: Tomorrow May 14

#### Chapter 10

Students continue to deepen their conceptual understanding of multiplication by modeling arrays using base-ten blocks. Previously, students have used blocks to make groups. Now they are organizing these groups into arrays to move toward a symbolic representation of the multiplication of greater numbers using equations.

Learning Target
"I will multiply multi-digit numbers with zeros by a one-digit number."

# Past Assignments

Learning Target

"I will use the Distributive Property to make multiplication easier."

### Due: Friday, February 12

#### My Math - Chapter 4 Lesson 4

Students continue to deepen their conceptual understanding of multiplication by modeling arrays using base-ten blocks. Previously, students have used blocks to make groups. Now they are organizing these groups into arrays to move toward a symbolic representation of the multiplication of greater numbers using equations.

Learning Target
"I will explore multiplication using area models and partial products."

### Due: Wednesday, February 10

#### My Math - Chapter 4 Lesson 3

Students will continue to explore the multiplication of greater numbers by using concrete models to build the numbers and multiply. Students will use base-ten blocks to make groups of two-digit numbers, then combine groups to find the product.

Learning Target
"I will explore multiplication using models."
