Phoenix to Give Out Breakfast and Lunch!

Starting Tuesday, March 24th and continuing weekdays throughout the mandated school closure, Phoenix will be passing out bagged breakfast and lunch to children 17 and under. Meals will be distributed between the hours of 9am – 12pm. To pick up meals, please come to the back of the school. Bagged meals will be given out at the entrance to the cafeteria. In order to ensure the safety of everyone involved, we ask that everyone maintain the recommended 6 feet apart and only step up to the table to get your meals when it is your turn. Everyone involved in the process of putting together and passing out the meals will wear gloves at all times and follow the safety guidelines provided by the CDC.

On Fridays, we will also have rigorous work packets for our students available so that they can keep their skills sharp. Packets will be distributed from the other entrance to the cafeteria. Again, we ask that everyone respect social distancing and only approach the table to receive your packets when it is your turn. All school employees involved in the process of making and distributing the packets will wear gloves and follow all safety guidelines.

Please be aware that, due to the Governor’s order and social distancing, parents, students and other community members will not be allowed to enter the school building for any reason. We appreciate your cooperation and know that, together, we will get through this!
